ENERGY
Web-Hosting: Our website is hosted via IONOS at 1&1 and is thus powered by 100% renewable energy sources, without certificates (REC). Furthermore, IONOS relies on energy-efficient data centers and pays attention to sustainability in terms of waste disposal. Learn more about IONOS sustainability services here..
Home-Office: Both in our co-working space (Impact Hub Hamburg) as well as in the home office, all team members use green electricity.
MOBILITY
Business Travel: Generally, we try to avoid most business trips and hold meetings digitally. However, if we are looking for in-person customer contact, or if we are speaking at an event or are at a trade fair, we prefer using the train.
Commuting: We love bikes. In a big city like Hamburg, it's not only the fastest way to get from A to B, but also the easiest option for us. Climate-neutral, sporty and healthy. If we don't ride a bike, we use public transport or sharing services like electric scooters.
OFFICE
Impact Hub: Unsere Büroräume sind im Impact Hub Hamburg. Der Impact Hub gehört zu einer weltweiten Community aus “Impact-Driven” Coworking-Spaces. Sie haben es sich zur Aufgabe gemacht, eine nachhaltige Wirtschaft und Gründerkultur zu fördern. Das Schöne und auch Bequeme an diesem Arbeitsplatz ist: alle bürospezifischen Nachhaltigkeitsaspekte (z.B. Getränke, Klopapier, Ökostrom, Möbel, IT-Equipment, Müll etc.) unterliegen einem konsequenten Nachhaltigkeitsanspruch. Sind wir mal nicht im Impact Hub, arbeiten wir von zuhause aus, wo wir ebenfalls auf Dinge wie Ökostrom achten.
IT
Data privacy: Responsible handling of data, especially data security and data protection, is a top priority at WeShyft. In addition to certified standards such as the ISO 27001 we ensure the hosting of our application in Germany and thus naturally also comply with the EU Data Protection Directive.
FINANCES
Bank account: We have our bank account at the GLS Bank. GLS Bank uses the money exclusively to finance ecological and social projects. With our deposits we support - how else could it be - projects in the field of sustainable business.
